what would I like to do?

I was asked “If you weren’t remodeling this house what would you be doing?” Good question and not one with an easy answer.

Much of my life has been spent in some part of the modeling or remodeling business. I can do it. I don’t have anything to prove. I don’t mind the work as much as I am tired of living in a construction zone. I’d like to live in a clean finished space!

 So, what might I do? For one, I’d plan this year’s garden. Since I don’t know where I’ll be living next summer, logic is not to make too many plans just yet.

I could carve some wood, or make boxes or make a chair. That is the one thing I have never made: A good comfortable chair.

Shucks I might even read a book or three.
