skin stuff

I went to the dermatologist today.

He looked me over and declared that a couple of spots were worthy of a biopsy, which he did, then he cut out a hunk of my body that had some sort of cancer.

The spot is behind my ear, so I cannot begin to see it, but the bandage is large and looks like it will be in the way big time when I do the sleep thing. The in house pathologist said they got all the bad stuff and that I would be OK (for now). Seems that once they start doing this skin cancer stuff they keep cutting, but I digress.

The whole incident took most of the morning. But while waiting for the pathologists we had a good visit with other patients and their minders. We all had temp bandages on various parts of our head.

It was an interesting experience. Not painful and not really much of a big deal, but that C word does get our attention.
