I once owned a VW bus of this vintage. It was not a pop top, but I built a pretty decent camper inside. Loved that rig.
Then I get to remembering a bit more about it. 19 or 20 mpg. Lots of 45 mph time going up hills. No AC, not much heat. A new engine every year and my nostalgia wanes a bit.
Until I stop to think of all of that I wish I had another one.
